This was mainly Cari Bejenaru and Ana Maria's responsability, but we have all contributed with ideas.
We have used two different apps to edit the music video: iMovie and Final Cut Pro. We used iMovie mainly for selecting the footage that will be used and arranging it in order to be cut-to-the-beat. We have also edited the colours a little, although Final Cut Pro proved to have much more advanced settings, and so I would say that Final Cut had given our video a more professional look in terms of editing.
We chose to apply a different tint for each girl: green, yellow, pink, and blue in order for the viewer to clearly distinguish each scene and create a narrative which enhances the differences of each girl.
On top of the footage filmed in the four different scenes mentioned in the planning posts (sports base, restaurant, cafe, pool), we have also decided that we would want to include lip-sync in the music video, but due to the COVID-19 quarantine, the only option we had was to each film herself at home. I consider the lip-sync to enhance our video in terms of a more personal connection with the viewer, including them in the story.
